With added partner, Jan Walls Anderson, we expanded into the elder law, estate planning, probate areas and continued criminal defense.
In 1992 we discontinued personal injury litigation.
When Martin Anderson joined the firm in 1994, while in law school, the firm starting prosecuting consumer related actions and in 1996 when Martin Anderson was admitted we commenced consumer class action litigation. Martin left Anderson & Anderson in 1999 and is practicing as the Anderson Law Firm. I have tired several cases with Martin since he left Anderson & Anderson.
Amy Anderson joined the firm in 2000 and is currently a full partner working primarily with Jan Anderson.

As managing attorney of the Hillsboro office of Brindle, McCaslin & Lee, I was responsible for the assignment of contract criminal and juvenile dependency defense cases, the supervision of between three and four attorneys and two paralegal staff people and a receptionist.
In addition to my supervisory responsibilities, I handled a variety of cases including real estate litigation, probate litigation, personal injury litigation and criminal defense. I tried two criminal jury trials, several bench trials and hundreds of other court appearances.
ANDERSON & ANDERSON, ATTORNEYS AT LAW September 1, 2008 to present
On September 1, 2008 I opened the metropolitan Portland office of Anderson & Anderson. Amy was admitted to the Oregon Bar in June 2007, Jan was admitted to the Oregon Bar in April 2008. At this time neither Amy nor Jan are practicing in Oregon.
My practice will be limited to criminal, civil and probate litigation.

Hobbies
Swimming- As a member of Novaquatics Swim Club in Irvine, I competed in the United States Master’s Swimming Nationals, May 2002, April 2003, August 2005 & April 2011 placing in freestyle and butterfly events. I swim 2500 to 3500 yards 3 to 5 times per week with T-Hills Baracudas.
Scuba Diving- I have been awarded the PADI Rescue Diver, Dive Master, and Instructor certifications in 2003. I actively teach scuba diving
Photography- I photograph the Orange County Bar functions that I attend which are then published in the Orange County Lawyer. I also take underwater photographs.
